Steering by Starlight – Martha Beck
In this book, Martha Beck outlines the path to true joy and happiness. She inspired me to really take faith in what is in my mind and the ideas that I do have. There is a purpose for each of us and we can create our life with that purpose by listening to our inner voice.
Living the Sutras -
Kelly DiNardo and
Yoga is a new addition to my world in the past few years. The practice of connecting my body to my mind has been life changing for me. This book takes that connection one step farther by showing us the connection between the tenants of yoga and the way we live our daily life.

I read this book at a pivotal time in my life - I read this as I was contemplating the decision to leave my former job. Jen Sincero showed me that anything is possible if I just get out of my own way. This book inspired me to take action to create the life I was yearning for!
Rising Strong as a Spiritual Practice- Brene Brown
Timing is everything. I listened to this when I was searching for the answers for what I was to do next. Interestingly, Brene Brown connected me back to what was always there - my belief in the power of something greater than me. Gratitude and a spiritual practice can carry you farther than you know, especially when you don't believe in your own power.
You Are What You Think -
Dr. Wayne W. Dyer
My amazing coach told me that we should go to sleep asking the great questions and awake listening. I read the meditation of the day prior to bed. It is amazing what my brain has shown me in my morning writing practice since I started doing this. Something so simple as taking the time to read the thoughts of a great mind has brought a massive shift in my mindset.
